ABOUT
Treaty six territory is situated in most of central Alberta. It is home to many First Nation communities and Indigenous people, and settlers across Turtle Island. At the heart of its history, there are rich cultures and languages lived and spoken for hundreds and thousands of years, and still live. They are, the: Cree (Plains), Stoney-Nakota, the Anishnaabe, Denesųłiné and the Michif.
The following website is focused on the First Nation languages spoken in Treaty six in recognition of the dire and imperative need to recognize, re-vitalize, and in a sense re-live these languages
